New Delhi, November 4, 2026: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced an Online Assignment Management System (OAMS) to simplify assignment submission for students appearing in the December 2026 Term-End Examination (TEE). Eligible students enrolled in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes can now submit their assignments digitally through their IGNOU Samarth accounts.
According to the university's notification, the last date for online IGNOU assignment submission is November 20, 2026. Students must log in to their Samarth accounts, select their respective courses and upload the required assignment files through the OAMS portal.
The new facility will make assignment submission more convenient by reducing the need for physical visits to study centres. Students who have already submitted their assignments in hard copy or through the applicable LMS do not need to submit them again online.
IGNOU has advised eligible learners to complete the submission process before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical difficulties.
